ColorDMD Demo games to play and see!
ColorDMD is an LCD display designed to replace the traditional orange dot matrix displays (DMDs) used in pinball machines. Round dots are drawn to the LCD to emulate the original dots. Because it’s an LCD, any color dot is possible. By adding in proprietary algorithms and hardware we are able to create a multicolor display to enhance older games designed originally with only one color.

Michelle and John Costa of Pearland, Texas own and operate Drop-A-Coin Repair which specializes in restoring pinball machines, arcade games and jukeboxes. Their motto: “We don’t fix the problem, we repair the machine”. Pinball, arcades, jukeboxes, signs, and more decorate their entire home. John jokes, “You can always identify a crazy collector by how many machines he/she has in their kitchen”. Costa kitchen: 4 pinballs, 1 jukebox, 10 signs, and a wall of pinball playfields – “crazy collectors,” borderline. The Costa family has been a staple at the H.A.A.G. show contributing in showcasing some of their fantastic machines – games the public rarely gets to see, much less, ever gets to play. Collecting is only part of the equation through our company Drop-A-Coin Repair we have brought hundreds of machines (pinball, jukeboxes etc.) back to life ensuring enjoyment for future generations of gamers. John and Michelle conclude that the easiest way to propagate this hobby is by sharing their individual experiences whether through repair tips, stories of great finds, or just all around high score bragging rights. “We are a community and the Costa family is proud to be a part of it”.

They’re just as goofy in real life as they appear to be in their music videos, comic book stories, and Saturday morning cartoon. After recording five albums and playing well over 1000 shows together at dozens of conventions, casinos, parties, events and festivals as well as hundreds of bars, concert halls and other music venues across the country and throughout Europe, you’d think they’d have gotten better. Your game needs to be there (even if you sell it) until the end of the show if you have to move it you will have to pay for your weekend pass.
Load out is Either End of Show Saturday Night or Sunday morning
(Depending on how may people are left we will stay open until 2am) or you can load out on Sunday starting about 9am until 5pm. You can bring games to sell, but they must be on free play and everyone must be able to play them Games must stay until load out times unless there is an emergency
